Position Purpose:

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions supporting Utilization Management, translating business and clinical requirements into scalable, well-governed system deployments. The Implementation Manager drives delivery from design through go-live and post-launch stabilization, partnering across clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure new capabilities are configured, tested, and adopted successfully.

  • Own the end-to-end execution of technology implementation initiatives by managing scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment, and delivery across cross-functional teams so projects move from requirements through configuration, testing, and go-live with the discipline needed to build executive confidence and secure investment for scale.

  • Serve as the operational backbone of the implementation program — establishing governance structures, project frameworks, and performance measurement criteria that allow the organization to roll out new systems and workflows in a controlled, low-risk manner and make evidence-based decisions about configuration, phased rollout, and long-term support.

  • Translate implementation results into enterprise decisions — synthesizing clinical outcomes, operational performance data, and frontline feedback into clear, executive-ready reporting that gives leadership the insight needed to prioritize technology investments, manage organizational risk, and build a credible, phased path to full-scale adoption.

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact technology and process improvement opportunities that advance Utilization Management and enterprise business objectives.

  • Manage system configuration, workflow design, and integration activities in partnership with IT and vendor teams, applying enterprise frameworks to identify repeatable, high-leverage implementation approaches.

  • Exercise expert judgment in selecting appropriate implementation approaches (phased rollout, pilot, big-bang deployment, or parallel run) based on workflow complexity, risk, and business value.

  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, user acceptance testing, and cutover planning for core UM platforms, maintaining hands-on fluency with leading clinical and workflow management systems.

  • Partner closely with line-of-business leaders, IT, clinical operations, vendor management, and enterprise Program Management Offices to ensure alignment with standards, architecture guardrails, and compliance requirements.

  • Define and track success metrics tied to business outcomes, ensuring AI solutions reduce friction, improve effectiveness, and scale impact across teams.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner—translating technical concepts, tradeoffs, and recommendations for stakeholders across varying levels of technical sophistication.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 2+ years of experience in technology implementation, systems configuration, or solution deployment including AI required. Fluent with a range of implementation and project management tools with demonstrated experience delivering enterprise systems.

  • 3+ years project management and cross-functional delivery experience required. This may include cross-functional collaboration in an enterprise environment.

  • Experience in the healthcare and/or managed care industries preferred.

  • Demonstrated ownership and initiative with a desire to drive significant, measurable results.

  • Strong project management, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
