Egg Farmers of Canada (EFC) is seeking an Industrial Products Program (IPP) Coordinator to join the Operations team in a fast-paced, challenging, and exciting work environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IPP, the IPP Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day IPP operations moving Canadian eggs into the industrial products market across Canada. This role is well suited for a new grad who is looking to build a career in logistics, supply chain or data management.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of the IP Program and assist the IPP unit with supply chain management
  • Lead for EFC IPP donation programs and work directly with donation program partners
  • Monitor and ensure efficient flow of plastic supplies to and from processing stations
  • Liaise daily with EFC Finance on IP declaration reconciliation
  • Maintain communication with industry partners and key stakeholders
  • Work directly with program partners
  • Analyze data and develop reports as needed for IPP unit or other units within EFC
  • Liaise daily with Third Party Verification (TPV) Services
  • In collaboration with the Supervisor, IPP, develop, implement and maintain TPV program procedures
  • Assist with the management of the Industrial Product Release Tracking (IPRT) program
  • Support day to day Tableau and Salesforce requirements for IPP Unit
  • Travel as required to maintain relationships with external stakeholders
  • Conduct project management activities, as required
  • Assist and provide complete back up to the Logistics Specialist, IPP
  • Assist on strategic transportation projects, developing and maintaining all documentation and process, as required i.e. Transportation RFPs
  • Contract negotiation support

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders and work as part of a team
  • Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to coordinate various tasks
  • Knowledge of business management practices and trends
  • Knowledge and strength in business writing and communication practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and work within various software applications
  • Ability to identify, bring forward and steer through initiatives for program improvements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma and/or a relevant combination of education and experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain or data management is considered an asset
  • Experience working within Tableau, Salesforce or similar applications is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

  • A standard workweek schedule working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Frequent interactions with vendors and stakeholders
  • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, use of a computer, and close attention to detail
  • Position involves access to sensitive information, requiring discretion and confidentiality
  • Occasional domestic travel to attend external meetings and events may be required
