CMLS is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Manager to join our Residential Business Development team in Eastern Canada. Reporting to the Director of Sales for Eastern Canada, you will be the primary point of contact for new and emerging mortgage brokers across British Columbia.


Your mission is to identify, educate, and grow mortgage broker relationships, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for training, and a knack for building relationships, we want to hear from you.


Where You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for new mortgage brokers in Ontario, ensuring a premium "CMLS experience" from day one.
  • Training & Education: Conduct regular calls and virtual meetings to educate brokers on CMLS products, programs, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Pipeline Growth: Drive volume generation within your assigned book of brokers, identifying high-potential partners to grow their annual volume toward the $5M+ "graduation" threshold.
  • Efficiency Oversight: Monitor and manage "look-to-book" metrics, maintaining a target efficiency of 46% or higher.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Ontario external sales team and the underwriting department to resolve issues and streamline the broker journey.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on the Ontario broker landscape and competitive activity to better position CMLS solutions.


What We Value:

  • A college or university degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Marketing.
  • Mortgage Broker/Agent License is required (or must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire).
  • Previous experience in the mortgage industry (underwriting, documentation, or brokerage side) is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a "patient dedication" to customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-player mindset; culture fit is a top priority for our Eastern Canada team.
  • Residency in Ontario is required (Hybrid in Toronto is preferred, but remote within Ontario is possible).
