Responsibilities:
- Create quotes & convert sales orders
- Discuss applications on the phone and by email
- Lead generation (may include cold calling)
- Have quotes reviewed by engineering and supervisor
- File quotes and do follow ups
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Track progress billing and work with accounting to post the invoices
- Work with Project Managers to get updates on status of the orders

Education:
- Post-secondary education with a Business Administration & Material Management designation
- Computer software courses in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with computers and their requirements
Experience:
- Prefer 3 years in Inside Sales experience
- Ability to read specifications and blueprint drawings is an asset
- Demonstrates previous experience building exceptional relationships utilizing communication, listening and negotiation techniques
- ERP system – Experience with Infor preferred but not required
- Knowledge of fabrication and machining processes an asset
- An asset to interpret information on job orders
- Thorough knowledge of the standard business practices, tools and terminology and services for a manufacturer of custom and standard products
- Previously met challenging but realistic goals
Job Qualifications and Training Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently meeting the requirements of timely deadlines
- Demonstrates ability to learn technical aspects of ELS products
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to travel to vendor or client facilities with moderate –low overnight travel, if required
- Required to maintain valid driver’s license and provide drivers abstract related to company insurance to use or drive any ELS vehicle if required
