Your Opportunity

Our BDO Canada Offices are looking for an Insolvency Analyst to join the Personal Debt Solutions Banking team in-office and own the following responsibilities:

  • Drafting documents, letters, and various correspondence to clients

  • Accurately enter documents into internal systems creating formal documents in the insolvency database

  • Various other duties to assist the Personal Debt Solutions department as required including working with the local team and others within the organization

  • Community outreach and use of social media to promote personal debt solutions offerings

Your experience and education

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You must be able to liaise well with staff and outside parties

  • You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • If you have a post-secondary education, it will be considered an asset but not a requirement

  • If you have previous Insolvency/ Personal Debt Solutions experience, it is considered an asset but not a requirement

  • Ability to stay organized within a busy work environment

  • Ability to support high-level management demands with strong attention to detail

  • Deadline and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

  • Exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

  • Due to frequent communications and interactions by email and phone with English-speaking clients in Quebec and outside of Quebec, proficiency in spoken and written English is required for this position.
