Headway’s mission is a big one – to build a new mental health care system everyone can access. We’ve built technology that helps people find great therapists with the first software-enabled national network of providers accepting insurance.

1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.

Headway was founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve grown into a diverse, national network of over 45,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. We’re a Series D company with over $325m in funding from a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Health Care Service Corporation.

We want your time here to be the most meaningful experience of your career. Join us, and help change mental healthcare for the better.

As Headway's Integrated Marketing Manager, Patients, you'll play an integral role in scaling our patient marketing efforts. Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, you'll be our first integrated marketer responsible for our patient marketing efforts, helping to define and build strategies for us to reach people seeking mental health care. You'll be a data-driven B2C marketer who infuses the voice of the customer into creative marketing programs to grow our patient network. The ideal candidate has experience developing & leading acquisition strategies, orchestrating a multi-channel plan, and testing new growth levers that drive direct-response goals.

You will:

  • Build and manage full-funnel marketing programs that resonate with people seeking mental health care
  • Own patient acquisition growth targets and identify new channels, campaigns, and levers to reach those goals
  • Partner closely with growth, product marketing, content, product, and analytics teams to connect marketing programs to business outcomes
  • Be the voice of patient acquisition in internal planning and cross-functional working groups
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders & partners that help us accelerate our growth

You’d be a great fit if:

  • You have 6-10 years of experience building and scaling multi-channel integrated marketing programs, ideally at a DTC company
  • You have experience owning a growth outcome with CAC and payback period guardrails
  • You've built marketing programs that include content marketing, email/lifecycle, search marketing, and partner marketing
  • You are highly detailed and process-oriented, and can adeptly manage diverse stakeholders, steps, and deadlines
  • You have high critical thinking skills and a strong bias towards action – you can take ideas from a range of sources without stalling forward progress
  • You have experience marketing to healthcare or mental health audiences (preferred)
