Role Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate UX Designer to create
intuitive, user-friendly, and visually compelling digital experiences. This
role focuses on designing end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile
platforms, leveraging user research, prototyping, and modern AI-enabled design
tools to optimize usability and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create
effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing user interfaces
- Design
overall product functionality to deliver exceptional user experience and
iterate through user testing
- Develop
user interfaces for digital displays, publications, media, and other
creative assets
- Apply
user-centered design principles and rapidly test and iterate designs
- Conduct
user research including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Translate
insights into design artifacts such as sitemaps, user flows, customer
journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Utilize
AI-powered tools (e.g., design assistants and analytics tools) to generate
concepts, analyze user behavior, and support decision-making
- Collaborate
with stakeholders to define product vision and design strategy
- Identify
design problems and deliver elegant, effective solutions
- Gather
and incorporate user feedback to improve existing interfaces
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience
designing complex digital services from concept to production
- Strong
knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and UX
principles
- Hands-on
experience with tools such as Figma and Axure
- Proven
ability to deliver user flows, wireframes, mockups, clickable prototypes,
and presentations
- Experience
conducting user research and usability testing
- Experience
designing accessible digital services
- Experience
using AI tools to support UX/UI design activities, including wireframing
and user behavior analysis
General Skills
- Experience
designing for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency
with design and prototyping tools
- Understanding
of web technologies and their design limitations
- Ability
to translate emotional and behavioral user insights into design decisions
- Strong
problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience
- Experience
managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and collaborating in team
environments
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge
of network security and network protocols
Additional Requirements
- A
digital portfolio must be included with the application
- Resumes
must not exceed four (4) pages
- Shortlisted
candidates will present their portfolio in a 10-minute interview session
- Engagement
is part-time (2–3 days per week)
Evaluation Criteria
- Experience
leading design of complex digital services (30%)
- Demonstrated
portfolio showcasing UX/UI expertise (30%)
- Knowledge
of UX principles, research methods, accessibility, and design tools (40%)
