ABOUT THE TEAM 

The Procurement team at our organization plays a crucial role in managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-saving initiatives. Reporting to the Managing Director and Corporate Controller responsible of Corporate Finance, the team collaborates closely with various departments to support strategic sourcing and optimize procurement processes. Our vision is to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and deliver value through effective supplier management and strategic procurement practices. 

ABOUT YOUR ROLE 

As an Intern Procurement you’ll:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating supplier bids, and participating in vendor selection meetings 

  • Help with the drafting, reviewing, and management of procurement contracts. This includes ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date 

  • Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, such as invoicing issues resolution, maintaining records, and handling correspondence 

  • Help in managing relationships with vendors, including communicating with suppliers, tracking performance, and ensuring compliance with contract terms 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 
  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa) 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an asset 

  • Strong communication skills are necessary for managing vendor relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and handling administrative tasks 

  • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum 

  • Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position.  No support to obtain the right to work will be provided  

  • *Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit
