Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and learn about production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of production database software to enhance operational efficiency
- Update and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various production tasks
- Develop and assist with automated reports using Power Automate and Power BI
- Support the improvement of production QA stations by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
- Maintain accurate records of production data and reports
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to identify and implement process improvements
- Help design and develop new production systems to improve workflow and productivity
- Utilize ERP software for tracking production activities, inventory management, and generating reports
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for process optimization
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of production goals
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields)
- Strong interest in gaining practical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, or database management systems is preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 3D printing expertise preferred
- CAD design experience for 3D printing and other projects, SolidWorks experience preferred
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics
