The Team You Will Join
The Financial Operations Expense Center of Excellence team is responsible for the accounting, reporting and disclosures related to expenses and Global Project Governance to provide process standardization across the enterprise.
Please note this is an intern-only opportunity with no conversion opportunity to full-time at the conclusion of the internship.
The Opportunity
The Intern is responsible for documenting critical processes on the expense team. This will enhance our control environment, facilitate audit requests and support process improvement strategies. The intern may also assist the reporting and analysis team with monthly deliverables, special projects or ad hoc reporting.
The Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial processes, contribute to strategic projects, and assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of finance operations within a dynamic business environment, while fostering growth and development.
Success in this role requires good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with finance and accounting professionals in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Create process documentation
- Support process improvement efforts
- Assist in financial reporting and analysis
- Coordinate and collaborate with management and individuals in the expense department
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritize a variety of deliverables
- Ability to listen and understand the customer's needs
- Ability to support, facilitate and participate in activities that promote team effectiveness
What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Working towards CPA or CFA a plus
