Our IT Internal Auditor reports to the VP, Global Internal Audit and is the key point of contact for conducting data analytics and evaluating results, planning, and conducting internal audits in accordance with professional and operational best practices.
The role involves coordinating and executing audit projects working together with a global team of professionals. Internal Audit partners with McCain businesses to provide independent and objective assessments of business and financial process controls and recommends high quality cost-effective, and value-added process improvements.
IT Internal Auditor continuously takes the initiative to broaden their experience by participating in a wide range of projects and assignments. They are proactive in obtaining and enhancing the necessary knowledge and skills to progress within the Internal Audit Department and throughout the organization.
This role provides excellent exposure to senior executives and offers the opportunity to progress to operational or corporate roles.

How You'll Help :
- Develop comprehensive audit programs using advanced data analytics, AI-based audit tools, and technology-driven methodologies for more effective and efficient audit processes.
- Conduct pre-audit data analytics procedures, leveraging AI tools and automation to identify patterns, exceptions, or emerging risk trends.
- Design and tailor audit programs addressing both traditional risks and new technology risks, including cybersecurity, system implementations, and AI agent deployments.
- Lead execution of business and IT-focused audit procedures, ensuring findings are supported by robust evidence and effective documentation.
- Present findings and recommendations to management, agree on appropriate solutions to risk management, internal control, and operational efficiency issues.
- Coordinate audit completion activities, aligning key findings with management and prepare draft audit reports for review.
- Stay current with developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and regulatory standards relevant to IT auditing.
- Enhance the audit process to leverage SAP, Alteryx or other data analytics tools and utilize technology to enable continuous monitoring.
- Mentor and train junior auditors, including new audit technologies, data analytics, and scripting for audit automation.
- Ensure all audit recommendations are tracked, documented, and implemented.
- Collaborate globally, fostering positive relationships with technology, business, and audit stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 30%.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in audit, IT auditing, or compliance functions.
- Experience in scripting/scriptwriting by utilizing platforms like Python, SAP, Alteryx, IDEA, etc. is a must have.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, IT general controls (ITGC) and emerging technology risks is a must have.
- Good knowledge of audit methodologies, control frameworks, and risk management techniques.
- Experience in completing data analytics in internal audit or compliance utilizing tools such as Power BI, SAP, Alteryx, IDEA, or comparable audit/data analytics platforms.
- Professional certification (CIA, CISA) is preferred.
- Experience auditing in an SAP environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and effective influencing skills with a high level of objectivity and integrity.
- Ability to think critically, analyze data, make difficult decisions, and solve complex problems in evolving technology and control environments.
- Ability to identify underlying business issues, control concerns, challenges, or risks in complex situations.
- Culturally aware and sensitive as a result of working on multi-national projects.
- Utilizes sound judgment and sensitivity in presenting issues and in determining appropriate courses of action.

- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing others.
