Do you enjoy Planning, Reporting & Analysis? Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Planning & Financials, you will support the planning, reporting, and analysis of department and project financials for the IT division. You will work closely with managers and project managers on an ongoing basis to forecast expenses, explain variances, and identify cost efficiencies. You will prepare financial reports, executive decks and KPI dashboards to be presented to leadership. You will also collaborate with procurement and contract owners to manage expense requisitions and invoices.

About the Role

Financial Planning and Forecasting

  • Support the monthly forecasting process for the IT division
  • Collaborate with IT managers and project managers to analyze budgets and forecasts, identify savings opportunities and mitigate financial risks
  • Prepare the leadership monthly financial updates including the operational and project portfolio budgets, headcount and chargeback forecasts, ad-hoc analysis, and KPI dashboards

Requisition and Invoice Management

  • Create requisitions in collaboration with contract owners and procurement
  • Validate and process invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues

Analysis, Process improvement and Reporting

  • Consolidate information from various internal and external sources, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, and deliver solutions
  • Drive process efficiencies, simplification, automation, and standardization across the IT division to deliver consistent and accurate expense management practices
  • Support the analysis and implementation of total cost of ownership (TCO) strategies
  • Produce detailed and flexible financial reporting and dashboards using various BI tools

About You

  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Over 3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and managing requisitions and invoices
  • Proficient with the entire MS Office suite - advanced knowledge of Excel (functions, vlookup, pivot tables)
  • Experience with SAP would be an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
