As an IT Project Manager, you will play an integral role in the business by delivering technical projects that result in achieving critical strategic goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business efficiency. You will be involved in managing the definition, planning, management, reporting, and delivery of various projects that enable Mitel to expand its portfolio and its footprint in premise, hybrid, and cloud solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter with business and technical program management experience to work as part of a dynamic, global team. Your role will include defining and managing program scope and plan, preparing documents to secure senior leadership alignment and investment approvals, and managing project implementation from requirement gathering through post go-live support.

You will be part of an experienced, accomplished team who engage broadly across Mitel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage programs in accordance with Mitel’s goals and processes.
  • Facilitate program teams and stakeholder’s communication to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ensure program success criteria meets specification/requirements and establish a schedule.
  • Direct teams and individuals to project schedules, identify risks and risk mitigation to deliver on-time and within budget.
  • Track technical issues and find solutions for program problems as they arise to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Utilize organization skills to manage multiple facets of a program and track progress for several projects concurrently.
  • Recognize and coordinate appropriate escalations regarding project issues and decisions · Implement, manage, and track changes to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Support identification of organizational & business improvement opportunities.

  • Develop knowledge of Mitel products, tooling architecture and landscape.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Project Management (PM) or related technical field or 3-5 years of equivalent project management experience required
  • Competency in MS Office, JIRA, and SmartSheet
  • Proven stakeholder management skills working with operational, product development teams, and non-technical teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and organizational abilities Self-motivated and driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Additional Skills:

Project management certification(s) (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, degree in program management)
