The IT Specialist is responsible for delivering day-to-day IT support across all Canadian offices, including Red Bull Canada (RBCA) locations and Red Bull Canada Distribution (RBCD) warehouses. This role provides technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth operations for end-users. The IT Specialist will actively work to enhance user satisfaction by leveraging Red Bull’s IT service management processes and adhering to global IT standards. Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate and secure inventory of end-user devices, branch office IT equipment and services, as well as supporting local IT and business projects.

Job Description

IT SUPPORT

Ensure professional end-user IT services by building and maintaining partnerships with internal and external business stakeholders (Ops Managers, Distribution Managers, Sales Managers, Office Administrators, etc.) 

Provide day-to-day IT support, ensuring timely issue resolution, and offering on-site or event support when required.

Leverage Incident, Service Request, Problem, Outage, and Change Management processes for the Red Bull stack of IT services (global, regional, and local).

Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware, software, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

 

END USER DEVICES & IT INFRASTRUCTURE

Ensure an up-to-date, accurate IT asset inventory in line with Red Bull standards/tools.

Coordinate end-user device roll-out as well as device replacement cycles for client computing hardware, including peripherals (e.g. monitors, printers) and mobile devices, etc.

Manage local IT Infrastructure for RBCA and RBCD locations, including projects and events within the regions. Including new office builds, relocations, remodels, infrastructure deployments, printers, meeting room equipment, office access control, security cameras and others required by the business. 

Ensure an equipment purchase process in line with standards (e.g. vendors, part number, etc).

Coordinate the RMA process for client computing and/or backend-hardware components. 

 

LOCAL IT PROJECT COORDINATION & ADMINISTRATION

Ensure the successful execution of local project tasks, delivering the highest end-user satisfaction.

Supports local IT and business initiatives by leading assigned work packages.

Proactively align local business needs and requirements with the IT team.

Manage assigned tasks using global project management methodologies, ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.

Coordinate with external vendors and partners (e.g., A/V setup, digital signage).

Document IT policies, procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

3+ years equivalent experience.

Solid know-how in Microsoft Windows and Office, Mac and Apple devices (phones and iPads), AD, Exchange, AV equipment, Networking and Security Services.

Strong communicator; tactful when dealing with end-users.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-directed, with a strong ability to complete tasks autonomously.

Superior collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience with Halo or equivalent ticketing software.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field), or equivalent work experience.

Additional Information

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $77,805 to $85,995. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
