Job Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs Help Desk user support related activities; observes and enforces IT policies and guidelines
  • Performs Active Directory Administration for CTL, COE and CTC Organizations Units (OU's)
  • Install, maintain and upgrade all Windows applications software to the appropriate levels, as per internal or external customer requirements
  • Maintains and upgrades the hardware and Operating Systems for desktops, laptops, workstations, servers
  • Support Smartphones, and Magna's Enterprise Mobility Management solution
  • Active participation in IT Projects related to the Infrastructure or PC client hardware replacements
  • Performs tasks related to Magna Security controls - checklists; updates documentation and procedures whenever necessary
  • Works to ensure IT Security compliance as per Magna IT security policies and
  • Performs work to remediate IT non-compliant issues and maintain the compliance level required by Division's target and KPI
  • Provides technical support assistance and effectively participates in the development of policies and procedures for the IT department
  • Participates in Cross Functional Teams and interacts with IT personnel from other Magna IT and other IT Divisions
  • Participates in internal audits preparing data and documentation for the Auditors
  • Participates and learn troubleshooting of network and LAN connectivity - when necessary
  • Performs Administration of certain Windows Engineering servers, including Virus Scan software, Malwarebytes Enterprise Console server
  • Maintains and performs support for MS Office suite including MS Outlook, O365, OneDrive, MS Teams, PowerBI, and Lotus Notes client.
  • Provide a backup role for Systems Analyst when necessary
  • Supports activities related to archiving obsolete data and data retrieval from on-line archive
  • Set up printers and plotters, user accounts, passwords, files permissions and maintain data integrity
  • Tests and evaluates hardware and software for future solutions implementations; participate to perform certain tasks for Disaster Recovery Procedures
  • Observe and support IT security procedures in order to maintain and secure company proprietary data; protect Organization's IP
  • Maintains existent, and update or develop documentation for the IT environment and participate to DR procedures
  • Initiates request for purchase orders for new and replacement hardware and and software maintenance renewals
  • Writes scripts or programs to automate daily tasks/routines
  • Properly maintaining company assets (ie: laptop, cell phone)
  • Attend to urgent situations, such as power emergencies, major failures or IT security related issues or incidents
  • Maintains safety and housekeeping at all times
  • Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
  • Displays a professional demeanor at all times
  • Complete tasks and assignments as deemed necessary by management
  • Follows Magna's Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
  • 1-3 years of experience with All Windows Operating system, Active Directory, VMware, Domino Lotus Notes, LAN
  • Excellent Customer Skills are required with a high professional conduct; ability to work well under time constraints with high quality of work
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems
  • Exposure to NetApp enterprise storage technology
  • Good knowledge of MS Azure Cloud and related Services
  • Familiar with Enterprise AntiVirus technology: Trend-micro preferred
  • Familiar with Smartphones: Android, Apple, Blackberry, BES
  • Familiar with Dell and HP server equipment
  • Linux / UNIX knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communications skills: verbal, written
