As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. About the job:

  • Provide direct administrative and office management support to senior managerial and technical executives, as directed.

  • Prepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements, and make reservations for senior executives and occasionally members of their staff.

  • Coordinate logistics of team programs including meetings, seminars, workshops, special projects, and events.

  • Minute taking, and tracking meetings resolutions.

  • Refer and/or redirect calls, e-mails, or visitors as required.

  • Complete expense reports, pay invoices, and other related duties.

  • Present a positive and professional image of the office to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons.

  • Some personal assistant duties as required (lunches, errands).

  • Other duties shall be assigned as required.

The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, or relevant discipline.

  • Three or more years of experience in an administration role supporting the work of upper management.

  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices.

  • Fast learner and keen attention to details.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Resourceful and flexible.

  • Strong English communication and written skills.
