Summary Own and grow a defined portfolio of Duracell B2B accounts in Canada. This is a customer-facing, quota-carrying sales role: the Junior Key Account Manager is the named Duracell representative for their distributors and end users, responsible for building trusted relationships in the field, defending and growing the base and converting new business across Canadian territories. The role exists to increase Duracell’s direct commercial coverage of the Canadian market.

Responsibilities

· Own the commercial relationships for an assigned book of Canadian B2B account, carrying an annual sales and distribution target for that portfolio.

· Spend most of the working time in the field: regular visits with customers, attendance at Canadian trade shows, branch days, customer events, etc.

· Build and maintain multi-level relationships at each account (purchasing, category, branch management and end-user decision makers) so that Duracell is represented in person, not only transactionally.

· Develop and execute annual joint business plans, including assortment, promotional calendar and growth initiatives, reviewed quarterly.

· Negotiate pricing, annual programs and quotes within delegated authority, balancing customer needs against Duracell margin objectives.

· Prospect, qualify and convert new Canadian accounts and new end-user segments to expand the territory base.

 · Act as the customer’s advocate inside Duracell, resolving escalated service, supply or pricing issues by coordinating with OMA, Product Supply and Finance, while retaining ownership of the customer conversation.

· Gather and report competitive, pricing and market intelligence from the Canadian field to inform NA strategy.

• Maintain account plans, contacts and opportunity pipeline in Salesforce/TPM, and lead quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts.

Qualifications

· 2-4+ years B2B sales, account management or field sales experience, with demonstrated ownership of customer relationships (required).

· Located in Canada, with a valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly within assigned Canadian territories (approximately 50% of time in the field).

· Bilingual English/French preferred. · Proven ability to build rapport and negotiate face-to-face; comfortable presenting to purchasing teams and branch audiences.

· Commercial acumen: understands pricing, margin, distributor economics and how to build a growth plan for an account. · MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP and Salesforce/TPM an asset.

· Experience with Claude AI, a plus, used to automate administrative and reporting tasks so that selling time is maximized. Strong communication, time management, organization and attention to detail; able to work independently in a remote, field-based role.
