Tayco is looking for one enthusiastic and detail-orientated Junior Product Data Coordinator to join our Engineering Team. Position Summary:

The Junior Product Data Coordinator is responsible for learning, understanding and owning the end-to-end process of furniture manufacturing at scale. This includes translating new requirements into clear instructions and guidance for production, scheduling, inventory and operations improvement departments. This is a highly cross functional position and will require extensive collaboration as well as a deep understanding of our specific manufacturing processes and supporting technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate engineering drawings into BOMs within the company's ERP system (Jeeves).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of Item Master and BOMs to support efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Develop proficiency in using Jeeves for product data management, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist with setting up items and work processes for manufacturing within Jeeves, following established procedures and direction from the team.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of item master records in Jeeves, including required parameters for order processing.
  • Regularly update and maintain product data in response to engineering notices, changes in materials, or modifications to the BOM.
  • Assist in approving engineering specials and cost specials in the absence of team members. Collaborate with the team on new product lines to determine how BOMs should be processed and set up in Jeeves.
  • Identify item master data issues and escalate or assist with resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Implement data quality standards to maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing data management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into accurate BOMs.
  • Experience in maintaining item master data and BOMs.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the parameters required for processing orders.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changes in product data.
