The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and deploying solutions while ensuring high availability, performance, and SLA compliance across complex application stacks, including CIAM platforms in a production environment.
What you will do:
- Provide L2 Support on the following systems and functions:
- Monitor the production system and ensure its performance and stability.
- Act on issues reported by L1/monitoring teams and coordinate with L3/vendor teams for the restoration of any faults.
- Resolve trouble tickets and address day-to-day customer issues.
- Coordinate with IT/network teams to resolve operational or functional issues.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from various teams.
- Analyze logs, resolve issues, escalate well in advance, and suggest alternative approaches.
- Deploy change requests (CRs) in production environments and ensure smooth system performance.
- Follow ITIL processes and demonstrate expertise in incident, problem, and change management.
- Ensure SLA compliance for applications and trouble tickets.
- Proactively develop competence in new solution areas and pursue relevant certifications.
- Provide effective 360-degree feedback on deficiencies in the current solution and coordinate with the Design team, L3, and vendors to address them.
- Participate in RCA discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will bring:
Must Have:
- BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5-15 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and operations in ForgeRock CIAM.
- Hands-on experience managing application stacks hosted on Red Hat OpenShift (containerized stack).
- Log analysis using Splunk or ELK.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Proficiency in Oracle WebLogic Server administration and Oracle WebCenter Sites.
- Hands-on experience with SSO, LDAP, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IIS, MFA, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Shell/Python scripting.
- Strong learning and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment.
Good to Have:
- Basic understanding of the telecom domain and integrated applications such as billing systems, EAI/messaging platforms, and payment gateways.
- Good understanding of web services (SOAP, REST).
- Knowledge of the deployment and maintenance of web-based applications using standard design patterns.
- Experience with AppDynamics or similar monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of the Linux command-line environment.
- Experience in web application development and support.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure in production environments.
