We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Node.js + React Developer to join our team located in LATAM.
As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities
- Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering, including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of web applications.
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js for backend and React (TypeScript) for frontend.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices for software development, including performance optimization, security, and scalability.
- Implement state management solutions in React (Redux, Context API, or Zustand).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and automation.
- Stay updated with modern development trends and best practices in Node.js and React ecosystems.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Node.js (Express.js, NestJS) and React (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Experience working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools like Sequelize, TypeORM, or Mongoose.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), functional programming, and software design patterns.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services for deployment and scaling.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills, with the ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
