We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer + AI to join our team in LATAM. This remote role provides the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team on exciting projects while ensuring seamless coordination across time zones.
As a Senior Data Engineer with Artificial Intelligence expertise, you will participate in all stages of the data lifecycle, including architecture design, data modeling, pipeline development, integration of AI/ML models, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of scalable solutions for our clients. As a key member of a collaborative team, you will work closely with data scientists, solution architects, and technical leads to deliver high-impact, AI-driven data products and platforms.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines to support AI/ML workloads.
- Integrate machine learning models into production data pipelines and ensure seamless deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists to prepare, transform, and serve datasets for training and inference.
- Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices across the data lifecycle.
- Partner with solution architects to define scalable and cloud-native architectures for AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and big data technologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with proven expertise in building large-scale data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and at least one big data framework (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration and deploying machine learning models into production.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery a plus).
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
