About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant (Vice President) to join the Strategy & Execution team within the Global Operations Strategic Solutions organization.
The Strategy & Execution team addresses pressing challenges facing Global Operations. Our team specializes in complex problems that have wide-ranging impact across the operations space. Offering a stabilizing influence, we provide the central direction and framework to drive momentum across a broad set of stakeholders. We prioritize the needs for our Global Operations leaders, resulting in a diverse set of high priority initiatives (aka "Programs").
In this role, you will:
  • Provide strategic consulting services and thought leadership utilizing comprehensive, in-depth knowledge, expertise, and emerging industry trends.
  • Partner with senior management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy and create/execute corresponding business plans and initiatives.
  • Execute on strategic initiatives and programs.
  • Make decisions in complex situations that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely and distill complex data and concepts into succinct messaging and presentations.
  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in a consulting firm or internal strategy team, managing large initiatives in a complex environment.
  • Experience partnering with senior-level executives across a large, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to drive problem solving for complex questions (e.g., develop hypothesis, structure problem, drive analyses, and design solutions)
  • Ability to build a story for executive-level communications based on progress and findings.
  • Ability to lead a team across all organizational levels; partnering with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility, collaboration, influence, and adaptability.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills), with a strong focus on storytelling through PowerPoint.
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
  • Adherence to in-office attendance expectations.
