About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead Counsel to join our Legal Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of matters with both internal and external partners on cutting-edge legal matters relating to our Super+ Membership, Super.com Card, Earnings Services, and related products.
Responsibilities
- Advise on complex legal and regulatory matters pertaining to our financial products and services
- Work with our Trave or Financial Products & Earnings business teams on new and existing products, partnerships, and other key strategic matters
- Oversee commercial contracts and other transactional matters
- Do a little of everything - We’re a small team and so there are opportunities to try lots of new things!
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of law firm experience representing financial institutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and business lines
- Ability to manage large products and juggle multiple mattersDesire to learn and contribute
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited law school
- Valid membership in a state or provincial bar
Nice to have Qualifications
- Knowledge of privacy laws
- Knowledge of intellectual property rights and experience with technology transactions
- Knowledge/experience with marketing/advertising laws
