About the Role:


We are looking for a Lead Counsel to join our Legal Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of matters with both internal and external partners on cutting-edge legal matters relating to our Super+ Membership, Super.com Card, Earnings Services, and related products. 

Responsibilities

  • Advise on complex legal and regulatory matters pertaining to our financial products and services
  • Work with our Trave or Financial Products & Earnings business teams on new and existing products, partnerships, and other key strategic matters
  • Oversee commercial contracts and other transactional matters
  • Do a little of everything - We’re a small team and so there are opportunities to try lots of new things!

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of law firm experience representing financial institutions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and business lines
  • Ability to manage large products and juggle multiple mattersDesire to learn and contribute

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited law school
  • Valid membership in a state or provincial bar

Nice to have Qualifications

  • Knowledge of privacy laws 
  • Knowledge of intellectual property rights and experience with technology transactions
  • Knowledge/experience with marketing/advertising laws
