We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager who will own and lead key components of GTM strategy for a critical product line, platform, or vertical initiative. What you’ll do:

As a Lead Product Marketing Manager, your key area of responsibility will be creating and refining product positioning, messaging, and launch strategy while driving market understanding through competitive intelligence and customer insights. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Business Development teams, as well as communicate with external vendors and partners.

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.


How you'll make an impact:
  • Strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Own key components of GTM strategy for the product line. This includes market analysis, product positioning, messaging, influencing pricing, and orchestrating impactful launches to secure market leadership.
  • Market Intelligence & Customer Feedback Loop: Serve as the subject matter expert on our markets and buyers by synthesizing competitive intelligence and customer insights. Establish and scale a formal customer feedback loop to ensure a continuous flow of actionable insights shapes the product roadmap and lifecycle.

  • Positioning, Messaging & Thought Leadership: Develop and refine foundational messaging frameworks, powerful product positioning, and compelling value propositions. campaign messaging, and other thought leadership content tailored to target markets, and represent the company in public forums.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Leadership: Unify and align Sales, Product, Marketing, and Business Development teams through proactive leadership in GTM planning, launch plans, validation cycles, and campaign priorities.

  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Design and deploy internal GTM onboarding paths, training materials, and partner-specific messaging frameworks. Develop co-marketing strategies to empower sales teams and strategic partners to succeed.

  • Product Adoption & Customer Education: Drive product adoption by creating and scaling customer-facing content, documentation, and educational materials that support the entire customer lifecycle.

  • Mentorship & Functional Excellence: Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members, playing an instrumental role in elevating the quality, consistency, and impact of the entire marketing function.

  • Performance Measurement & Fiscal Oversight: Define the key performance indicators for GTM success and be accountable for monitoring tactical metrics like pipeline, lead generation, and product adoption. Manage the associated marketing budget and resources to maximize ROI.

  • Category Design & Strategic Narrative: Evolve and own the product narrative. Shift the market conversation from generic traffic analytics to deterministic "Commercial Movement Insights." Position the platform as the undisputed source of truth for infrastructure and economic planning.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, preferably in data analytics, transportation technology, smart cities, or geospatial intelligence (GIS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Strategic Go-to-Market Expertise: Proven ability to own and execute complex go-to-market strategies and cross-functional launches that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Master Communicator & Storyteller: Exceptional ability to distill complex, highly technical data science and API concepts into simple, executive-ready ROI narratives.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Highly skilled in market research, in-depth competitive analysis, and translating data into actionable strategies and buyer personas.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and build relationships with industry analysts.

  • Technical Savvy: Experience with B2B SaaS and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business models, and a proficiency in leveraging AI toolsets and generative platforms for workflow optimization.

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change. Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
