Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, HR Systems & Analytics is responsible for overseeing the planning, strategic development, and administration of HR systems and related programs within the organization. Additionally, the Manager will lead and manage a team of global Tier 2 systems analysts, providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to ensure effective delivery of HR systems support and projects.
The position will collaborate closely with sub-groups, divisional HR teams, and Magna Corporate HR and IT to facilitate the ongoing development, training, and successful deployment of HR programs, systems, and related initiatives across the Cosma Group. A primary focus is on leveraging technology to enhance HR program effectiveness, ensure data integrity, and promote active engagement through process improvements aligned with HR system capabilities.
This role does not involve direct configuration of systems but instead provides expert support and guidance to a Tier 3 technical team, informing requirements and specifications necessary for system configuration and implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL
HR SYSTEMS
- Acts as the group Subject Matter Expert regarding HR systems providing support and communication to global HR team members to ensure data integrity, system security, effective data management, superior reporting capability and timely training of Users.
- Plans and manages the Global HRIS initiatives for the Cosma Group, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across identified regions/locations to reach objectives. Works closely with Global IT, vendors and key stakeholders.
- Gathers and analyzes business and HR requirements in comparison to system functionality to make recommendations and implement solutions which improve efficiency and quality of system reporting capabilities.
- Partners with functional and business stakeholders to understand, evaluate and improve/streamline HR system processes and services. Makes recommendations and develops requirements based on system and functional knowledge.
- Leads the effective data management and system administration requirements for global and regional HR applications
- Leads implementation and change management relative to new initiatives.
- Understands and manages data, technical and functional requirements of systems and all processes impacted by the HR system. Stays apprised of security, legislative/regulatory compliance such as Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Cybersecurity Law (CSL), etc. and ensures HR systems and processes meet those standards.
- Ensures User Security Profiles are established and updated as necessary.
- Creates and conducts User Training as necessary to support the effective application of HR systems at site level.
- Troubleshoots and resolves problems regarding HR systems.
- Acts as the liaison between Cosma Group HR teams and Magna Corporate Systems Administrators to ensure ongoing continuous improvement of system effectiveness and the timely resolution of problems.
- Creates Tutorial/Quick Reference documentation as necessary to support ongoing User knowledge.
HR ANALYTICS
- Compiles cross-group information, prepares reports and system analytics to support global HR Programs, Talent Management Programs and Compliance Programs.
HUMAN RESOURCES PROGRAMS SUPPORT
- Act as Group SME for compliance related training to ensure effective implementation of all mandatory training requirements.
- Completes compliance training related data for the Group Compliance Scorecard reporting to Magna.
- Provide administrative support to additional functional areas within the Cosma group to support global training initiatives
- Manages projects as assigned and performs other duties as required.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide direction and leadership to global HRIS support team reporting into this role.
- Provides leadership, guidance and oversight to team member and non-direct reports in executing global projects.
- Provides training or instruction to divisional HR Managers and Group team members, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- High-school Diploma;
- Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or related field of study is a strong asset but not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (design, structure, functions, and processes) in a large, fast-paced, matrix organization.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday including implementation, reporting, analytics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Dayforce is a strong asset.
