Manager, Internal Communications (Supply Chain & RAQPS)

The Impact You Will Make in This Role
As Manager, Internal Communications, you will support two of Solventum’s most critical enterprise functions: Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Product Stewardship (RAQPS). You will help shape how employees across these technical, operational and highly regulated disciplines understand priorities, align to strategy and stay informed about initiatives that keep our business running safely, compliantly and efficiently.
Here you will make an impact by:
Functional Communications Strategy
• Developing and implementing integrated communications strategies for the Supply Chain and RAQPS organizations supporting priorities such as operational excellence, safety, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, product quality and continuous improvement
• Serving as a trusted advisor to functional leaders providing strategic counsel on change communications, employee engagement and messaging for technical or regulated environments
• Ensuring all communications are aligned with Solventum’s brand, values and enterprise priorities while meeting the unique needs of technical and operational audiences
Employee Alignment and Engagement
• Creating campaigns and content that help employees understand functional strategy, performance, transformation milestones and key initiatives related to manufacturing, logistics, regulatory submissions, audits, quality systems and product stewardship
• Developing clear, accessible messaging for diverse employee groups including site operators, engineers, regulatory specialists and leadership teams
• Supporting communications for town halls, safety and quality moments, operational updates, leadership visibility initiatives and recognition programs
Content Development and Execution
• Writing and editing high quality communications including leadership messages, site or function-wide announcements, FAQs, presentations, intranet content, operational updates and talking points
• Translating complex or highly technical concepts into clear, actionable communications
• Managing editorial calendars and aligning timing of announcements with enterprise communications
Stakeholder Partnership
• Building strong relationships with Supply Chain and RAQPS teams, site leaders, EHS partners, product quality teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure integrated and effective communications
• Equipping people managers with toolkits and resources to support communication of operational priorities, changes and safety and quality expectations
• Gathering feedback to understand employee sentiment, assess communication effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen clarity, engagement and alignment
Your Skills and Expertise
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, business, engineering, regulatory affairs or a related field
• Six to eight years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications or related roles
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience supporting technical, manufacturing, supply chain or regulated business functions
• Ability to translate complex operational, regulatory or scientific information into compelling and accessible content
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills tailored for diverse audiences across global sites and functions
• Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Experience influencing and advising leaders within technical, operational or regulated organizations
• Proactive mindset, curiosity and ability to work strategically and hands on
• Experience in medtech, healthcare, manufacturing or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with change management principles and how they apply to internal communications
Work location: Remote
Travel: Up to 15 percent
