The Company:

Outschool’s mission is to inspire kids to love learning. In our fast-changing world, the traditional educational system struggles to meet the diverse and evolving needs of young learners. Outschool reimagines this system, offering flexible and engaging learning experiences as a supplement and alternative to traditional education. By connecting learners with a global community of teachers and peers through our online platform, we make learning personal, dynamic, and deeply human.

We've made significant strides since launching our marketplace of live online classes in 2017. Finding initial success with secular homeschoolers, we then expanded to enrichment learning to meet the needs of a wider audience, growing our business 16x since 2019. Post-pandemic, we have evolved our platform to power academic learning, incorporated AI, and have begun to grow our international community. We're proud to have served over 1M passionate learners with more than $100M in annual bookings.

Driving disruptive, positive change in education is rewarding and hard. Outschool team members are encouraged to challenge themselves, take risks, and grow in their careers. We look for talented people whose sense of urgency, innate curiosity, and determination to drive impact will help Outschool achieve outsized results in pursuit of our mission. We invite you to be part of an ambitious team dedicated to ensuring every learner can navigate the future with curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.

About The Role:

We’re seeking an experienced and data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to lead our paid social acquisition efforts. This role is critical to scaling our customer base through efficient, innovative, and ROI-focused paid social strategies. You will own the end-to-end performance of channels like Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and emerging platforms.

Campaign Management: Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) to drive efficient CAC and scalable acquisition.
  • Creative Strategy & Testing: Partner with creative teams to develop and test high-performing ad creatives. Champion an experimentation mindset.
  • Data & Analytics: Monitor and report on KPIs including spend efficiency, CAC, ROAS, and retention metrics. Run deep channel attribution analysis using internal tools or external platforms (e.g., GA, MMM, MTA).
  • Audience Targeting: Develop and refine segmentation strategies using first-party and platform data to maximize reach and efficiency.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Own channel budgets and forecasts. Ensure optimal spend pacing and alignment with company growth goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product marketing, data science, brand, and lifecycle teams to align growth strategies.
  • Channel Innovation: Evaluate and test emerging social platforms and features to stay ahead of market trends.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • 4–6 years of experience in performance marketing with a special focus on paid social.
  • Strong command of paid social platforms (especially Meta, Google and TikTok) and their respective ad managers.
  • Experience with creative performance analysis and scaling UGC/content-driven campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large acquisition budgets ($500K+/month).
  • Experience partnering on or briefing high-performing ad creatives.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Deep analytical skills; fluency in Excel/Sheets, and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Google Analytics).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth B2C, edtech, or ecommerce environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.

Nice to Have:
