About the Role:
We here at CrowdStrike have a singular mission, to stop breaches, and we are looking for a seasoned identity expert to help lead our pre-sales engineering team to support the sales teams in the Americas.
Our Next Generation Identity Security Sales Engineering team is a dynamic, global team that helps customers every day to prevent the compromise and exploitation of identities. If you’re passionate about stopping breaches and securing customer environments and you have experience with IAM, SaaS, Privileged Access Security, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and all things Identity Security then we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
As a Sales Engineering Manager, you’ll support a team of SEs operating as the face of Next Generation Identity Security for prospective customers. Working alongside our sales team, you’ll take ownership of the technical relationship through the sales cycle.
Coach, mentor and develop Sales Engineers skill-set to meet current and emerging sales opportunity needs.
Ensure effective technical field sales coverage for assigned sales theater account base.
Deliver technical product presentations & demonstrations to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executives.
Provide informal training to the Sales team on CrowdStrike technology and support for technical sales and competitive messaging.
Work as a Trusted Advisor within our prospects and customers in order to gain market share and ensure project success.
In addition to guiding prospective customers through their discovery of Next Gen Identity Security, you’ll also play an integral part in defining and executing on our go-to-market strategy - exploring new use cases, integrations, partnerships, etc. In other words, your success in this role will have a significant impact on the expansion of Next Gen Identity Security worldwide as a part of our team of specialists.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements.
What You'll Need:
5+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or Solution Architect in the IAM or Identity Security space
2+ years or equivalent experience in direct management or leadership of a technical team (experience managing remote employees highly desirable).
Be able to speak expertly about the identity components of the attack kill chain and identity-based tactics and techniques used by attackers.
Strong technical knowledge of SaaS/Cloud platforms (Salesforce, 365 etc) and security concepts (network security, endpoint security, threat detection).
Feel at ease presenting to large audiences both remotely and in-person.
Proven experience managing complex enterprise/strategic sales cycles end-to-end, including discovery, workshops, architecture design, demos, and proof-of-concept delivery
Demonstrated ability to "quarterback" technical workstreams - leveraging team resources effectively to coordinate internal and external experts, drive PoC execution, and ensure timely resolution of technical blockers
Strong understanding of IAM principles, enterprise IT architectures, and system security measures, with broad knowledge of systems, networking, and web platforms
Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with Account Executives, contributing technical insight and feedback to shape deal strategy
Comfort presenting and delivering technical content to executives, architects, and technical staff, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business impact
Willingly experiment with new technologies, techniques, and approaches to understand and communicate the unique value of CrowdStrike’s solutions.
Fluency in English.
Candidate must reside in Western United States
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, both domestically and internationally
Willingness to support both Western US and Asia Pacific Regions
Bonus Points:
Experience with Powershell, Python, and APIs is preferred.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred.
Experience with administration of CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection.
Have a solid understanding of MFA technologies preferable with hands on experience with Okta, Ping, Duo, Microsoft and Google MFA solutions.
Experience with MEDDPICC (or other Sales qualification frameworks)
Additional language fluency.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
