Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

15%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Finance Systems & Transformation (SAS IFRS17) to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead SAS IFRS17 teams and leverage strengths.

  • Train, coach, and develop talent.

  • Boost engagement and performance.

Project Management (Agile)

  • Align projects with business strategy.

  • Define scope and objectives; manage resources and dependencies.

  • Deliver on time, on budget, within scope.

Stakeholders & Influence

  • Manage sponsor and stakeholder expectations.

  • Influence and negotiate to secure buy-in.

Risk & Reporting

  • Identify and mitigate risks.

  • Produce dashboards and progress reports.

Implementation & Change

  • Oversee transition and recommend solutions.

  • Support organizational change management.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or any combination of equivalent education and experience in IFRS17 accounting standards

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • CPA designation or equivelent

  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset

  • Chartered Insurance Professional certification (CIP) or strong knowledge of P&C insurance is an asset

  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology

  • Knowledge of SAS IFRS17 system is an asset

  • Knowlege of MS Project, Visio, Office Suite, Sharepoint

  • Independent Thinker - Not afraid to challenge the status-quo

  • Fast learner

  • Versatile

  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in French is a plus.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
