We are looking to fill the role of Account Manager - Trade Channel with our Commercial - Strategic Partnerships, remotely in Canada or the United States!


The Account Manager - Trade Channel will be responsible for growing Mysa sales through partnerships with distributors and contractors across North America. Primarily, this role will grow business with existing accounts with a heavy focus on the HVAC channel. There will be opportunities for business development in new channels with new partners along the way as well.

Role Overview:

  • Work closely with internal and external teams to provide sales, marketing, and promotional support to partners. Serve as primary Mysa contact for distributors.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Mysa products for distributor partners.
  • Partner with master distribution partner to present Mysa products to distributors so that they can stock and sell Mysa products to contractors.
  • Identify opportunities within the channel to grow Mysa partnerships.
  • Travel within North America and represent Mysa at national and regional events.

Your Star Qualities

  • Experience with two-step distribution, preferably within the HVAC channel. Understand the nuances of selling to distributors, contractors, and developers.
  • 5-10 years experience in a relevant sales role.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills. Ability to understand customers’ business needs and provide solutions.
  • You’re a highly motivated self-starter that can prioritize projects and deliver results.
  • You have a very strong bias for action and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Travel requirements for this role will flex and may be as high as 75% of the time. Candidates should live near a large airport for ease of travel.
  • Experience with controls and existing relationships in the HVAC business are highly desired.
  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree is an asset.
