Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage engineering projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve manufacturing issues and implement solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Train and mentor engineering staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
