About the role .
The McCain Driving Impact (MDI) program is central to how our global manufacturing network operates. As an intern on the manufacturing learning team, Global MDI team, you will support the team in transforming the MDI Playbook content into high-impact, role-based learning for operators and maintenance teams. You'll collaborate with global MDI Element Owners, regional leaders, and plant representatives to create training that enables consistent execution of MDI principles across all regions.
What you'll be doing.
  • Develop or refine learning content aligned to MDI Foundational Playbooks and, when relevant, Stabilization Playbooks.
  • Convert playbook information into clear, practical learning tailored for operators and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure learning connects MDI principles to real-world manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with global MDI Element Owners, regional teams, and plant representatives.
  • Support global deployment preparation, including translation alignment and regional adaptations.
  • Draft or final training materials aligned to MDI Foundational Playbooks.
  • Role-specific learning pathways (Operator vs. Maintenance).
  • Documentation of gaps or enhancement opportunities identified during development.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Engineering, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education, HR, or a related field, entering your 3rd or 4th year post‑internship.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and apply insights to training strategies and learning design.
  • Clear, professional communicator skilled at simplifying complex concepts and contributing to effective instructional materials and learner‑focused content.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organization, ensuring accuracy, logical flow, and high-quality outputs across projects and learning deliverables.
  • Ability to investigate challenges, identify learner needs or root causes, and support the design of solutions such as job aids, modules, and process guides.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and advanced in data analysis (especially Excel), using data to evaluate training effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

About the team .
This is a small but highly collaborative team of two that supports Manufacturing Learning on a global scale. Despite its size, the team's impact reaches every region, partnering closely with site leaders, regional teams, and global stakeholders to deliver consistent, high‑quality learning experiences worldwide.
This team also works hand‑in‑hand with our Global Learning organization, collaborating on content design, localization, and deployment initiatives. In this role, you'll engage with all of these partners-gaining valuable exposure to how global learning solutions are built, adapted, and implemented across diverse environments.

Compensation Package: $23.00 - $26.00 CAD hourly wage equivalent, paid salary.
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
