The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Profile: The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and technology services to ensure reliable and secure business operations. This role provides technical expertise, resolves complex issues, and partners with stakeholders to implement technology solutions that support organizational objectives and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

  • Immediate, open position
  • $90,000 - $125,000 annual compensation
  • College diploma in relevant Information Technology field.
  • Cisco CCNA certification required.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in a large and complex environment is required, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
  • Strong background in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
  • Networking experience — LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VLANs.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, VDI, HyperV).
  • Previous helpdesk and troubleshooting experience required.
  • Previous experience managing Windows, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backups, patches, security and email systems.
  • Ability to support VMware and VDI environments including other virtualization software.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications (e.g., AS/400, Microsoft 365).
  • Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide oversight and support for IT systems, services, and overall technology environment.
  • Provide oversight and support for systems backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and enhancement of technology solutions.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and improvements.
  • Guide and support troubleshooting activities across systems, applications, and end-user services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain high-level documentation, standards, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to support system operations and service delivery.
  • Oversee requests, incidents, problems, and change management activities.
  • Support compliance, audit, and security requirements.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, planning, and project execution.
  • Support organizational priorities through cross-functional collaboration and leadership in IT initiatives.
  • Participate in daily compliance and monthly security patching.
  • Other duties as required.
