We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded BI & Data Analyst to join our team in Canada. Primary focus of this role is to support our marketing efforts through effective data visualization and analysis. The dashboards and analysis will help our Canadian marketers to track in real-time the impact of marketing on business growth. This full-time position is based in Toronto, Canada.
We are seeking someone with a proactive mindset to take the lead in setting up a strong foundation for measurement. The person should be able to interact with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, translate business questions into appropriate action plans and present his plans to the senior leadership.

Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop and maintain a variety of interactive and user-friendly dashboards using Tableau
- Handle and analyze large data sets to support marketing initiatives and provide insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform marketing strategies.
- Maintain and revise existing dashboards, metrics reports for management and track marketing performance and escalate risks/issues/findings to leadership as needed.
- Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and prepare data for analysis and dashboard creation.
- Perform automation using excel and Tableau
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
- Continuously improve and optimize dashboard functionality and design.
- Stay updated on best practices in data visualization and analytics tools.
Skills Required and Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of experience in an analytics role, experience with marketing preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, data science or related fields.
- Proven experience in creating dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and preparation.
- Experience to analyze large datasets.
- Experience in exploratory data analysis to uncover insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master's degree, concentration in a quantitative field, business, or marketing preferred.
- Experience in financial industry or marketing is preferred.
- Practical Experience in automating the production of recurring-reports and dashboards is preferred.
- Experience with AWS./Snowflake Cloud with knowledge in ODBC/JDBC database connection, Big Data platforms is a plus.
