About the job

The Marketing Operations Specialist position is needed to coordinate the end-to-end execution of global marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations, this role will oversee email communication governance, serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, analyze campaign performance, and lead campaign betterment program audits. 

This position will play a critical role in driving campaign success, optimizing workflows, and contributing to the growth and effectiveness of global marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:

  • Coordinate the Campaign Operations team's email calendar, ensuring alignment with communication governance standards, deadlines, and campaign prioritization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, resolving campaign-related questions and issues that arise during campaign execution.
  • Enable external partners to execute campaigns efficiently by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and approving deliverables.
  • Ensure strict adherence to audience segmentation and targeting guidelines for all campaigns to improve precision and effectiveness.
  • Track and analyze campaign results, producing regular reports that summarize key performance metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead Campaign Operations program audit work, identifying project scope and managing project timelines.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in campaign management, marketing operations, or project management.
  • Experience building a variety of campaign asset types (e.g., email, landing page, form, segments).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to deliver campaign requests from inception to completion, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing cross-functional workflows.

Desired:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Marketo Certified Expert are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization in campaigns.

Location

This role will be remote, and based in Canada, within the providences of Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario.

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in British Columbia. : CAD 73,400.00 - CAD 91,800.00

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
