WHO WE NEED:
The Marketing Operations Specialist is the backbone of our marketing engine. You will manage the technical infrastructure that enables our team to scale, with a dual focus on automation excellence and advanced marketing analytics. You won’t just build campaigns; you will measure their success, optimize the lead lifecycle, and ensure our data tells a clear story about marketing’s impact on the bottom line.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience managing marketing technology (Marketo Engage preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Salesforce Reports) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Strategic Mindset: Deep understanding of lead lifecycle management, attribution models, and the marketing-to-sales funnel
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail with a "test-everything" mentality
- Identify trends and data gaps across our tech stack, proactively bringing actionable insights to marketing leadership
Role Responsibilities:
Marketing automation program support
- Build and maintain marketing programs and campaigns in Marketo, including emails, nurture tracks, and form/landing page assets.
- Support campaign operations and execution across the buyer journey (awareness to conversion).
- Assist in implementing lead scoring, routing, and segmentation strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure programs align with campaign goals and audience targeting.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Working with teams across marketing and sales, you’ll provide campaign updates, share results, and support initiatives that span multiple departments. Your role will involve ensuring that everyone has the information they need to act quickly and make data-informed decisions, ultimately helping marketing efforts have a greater impact on the pipeline.
- Work closely with Demand Generation, Content, and Sales teams to support campaigns.
- Provide updates on campaign progress and share results with stakeholders.
- Monitor lead flow and troubleshoot issues related to sync errors or data discrepancies.
Systems support and data quality
- Monitor lead flow to identify and troubleshoot sync errors or data discrepancies.
- Follow data quality best practices to ensure accurate routing, segmentation, and reporting.
- Help manage the integration between Marketo and Salesforce.
- Monitor lead and data flow daily to quickly flag, troubleshoot, and resolve any sync errors or data discrepancies.
- Follow best practices to keep marketing data clean and accurate.
Marketing analytics and performance reporting
- Serve as the primary source of truth for marketing performance. You will transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain marketing dashboards that track KPIs, including MQL-to-SQL conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and pipeline influence.
- Campaign Attribution: Implement and manage attribution models to help the team understand which channels (Organic, Paid, Social) are driving the highest ROI.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Design and analyze experiments for email and landing page performance, providing recommendations to stakeholders based on statistical significance.
- Ad-hoc reporting
Travel Requirements:
If fully remote, office visits required once a quarter at minimum for planning/event-based meetings
