The Role
Square is looking for a dynamic sales operations professional to support lead generation and accelerate deals for the Restaurant Mid Market Sales Team. As a Deal Coordinator, you will support the team with our multi-location/franchise strategy, pipeline reviews, and sales motions. You will also help the team accelerate deals through the coordination of next steps, help navigate the RFP process, content creation, and execution.
The ideal candidate is an industry expert that thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment, has a passion for project management, complex solutioning, and possesses the ability to strategically increase efficiency across our mid-market sales organization.
You Will

    • Join sales calls, deal reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs for opportunities that the Mid Market team is working on to assist in the sales process.
    • Be responsible for RFP content needed from product, risk, and other cross-functional teams.
    • Help the Mid Market team build pipeline by leveraging industry contacts, attending industry events, and trade shows.
    • Help the Mid Market team with daily, weekly, and monthly updates on deals in the pipeline.
    • Provide reporting, own cross-functional relationships, and support on next steps needed to execute on deals.


You Have

    • 5+ years of experience in Sales Support.
    • Understanding of all activities associated with sales operations, including executing on policies and procedures and the overall sales process.
    • Administering strategic action plans for achieving goals for the team.
    • Proficient in Salesforce and other sales tools/products.
    • Proven ability to effectively meet deadlines.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work fast & smart independently.
    • Restaurant industry experience a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Payments experience a plus.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
