Your Title: Americas Sales Manager | Mining

What You Will Do:
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving all direct-led and indirect sales targets for the Mining market in their territory. This role combines knowledge of market dynamics, technology and industry experience with sales skills to achieve growth across the industry. The product portfolio includes Field Systems products and software with integrated workflows designed to improve productivity and safety. The Sales Manager will work directly with distributors to grow their market share in mining, primarily through distributor training, direct-led sales efforts, working with industry partners, and collaborating within Field Systems.

Increase market share through a combination of direct-led sales and evaluating and developing distributor sales personnel through observation, feedback and coaching as required to achieve revenue targets and market coverage

Coach sales representatives to drive growth and secure distribution partner engagement

Set and align strategy and tactics to meet sales growth requirements, be flexible in adjusting strategy and tactics as new information arises

Be on the lookout for partnerships and other opportunities that can drive growth in the industry vertical, including new channel partners

Create monthly and Quarterly Territory Sales forecasts and Sales Funnel Analysis

Drive revenue growth and reduce discounting as much as possible while meeting or exceeding sales targets

Ensure channel partners are fully engaged in the market vertical and allocate resources effectively

Provide voice of customer to Trimble product teams

Work with counterparts across Field Systems to ensure complete Trimble solutions are being offered to customers as appropriate
Key Organizational Interfaces:

The primary interfaces outside of Trimble are dealer sales people and customer end users.

The primary interfaces within Trimble are the Sales Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager and the Sales Account Managers in his/her regional team.

What Skills & Experience You Will Bring:

7+ years of mining technology experience

Sales Management experience including a track record of exceeding targets

Strategic consultative sales and closing skills

Strong strategic thinking and able to drive results in a high growth environment

Knowledge of Infrastructure markets, as they relate to Geospatial data

Ability to travel minimum 50% throughout the Americas and occasionally Worldwide
