Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a GI Oncology National Sales Manager to join our Oncology Team. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Oncology Commercial Director. This position covers Canada nationally, with a preference for candidates based in Mississauga, ON or Montreal, QC.

As a GI Oncology National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a national sales team to deliver launch and growth objectives for GSK's Oncology portfolio. You will have full accountability for people leadership, commercial performance, and cross-functional alignment while fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer and patient outcomes. You will leverage data and analytics to shape strategy, allocate resources effectively, and drive execution excellence. Success in this role will require strong leadership, commercial acumen, launch experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Medical, Market Access, Marketing and System Solutions to achieve business objectives and advance GSK's mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

Details (Your Responsibilities)  

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following

  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national field team; recruit, retain, and manage performance and talent.

  • Lead the team in delivering launch and growth objectives for GSK's Oncology portfolio.

  • Demonstrate experience launching new products and leading teams through launch excellence.

  • Create a culture of trust, psychological safety, and development, with clear expectations and accountability.

  • Own GI Oncology sales targets and use data and analytics to shape strategy, resource allocation, and customer prioritisation.

  • Deliver and exceed sales targets while setting ambitious goals for the team.

  • Translate market complexity into clear, actionable direction.

  • Champion a customer- and patient-centric approach, understanding the oncology ecosystem and strategic accounts.

  • Actively drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, MSLs, SSMs, Medical, Market Access, and Marketing.

  • Role-model adaptability, including "lean in" behaviour, innovation (including digital/AI), and high integrity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Balance performance management with coaching, mentoring, and employee development.

  • Empower team members to effectively manage priorities and build leadership capabilities for the future.

  • Model the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and ethical leadership.

  • Contribute to and foster a strong "One Oncology" culture across the broader Oncology organisation.

Basic Qualifications:  
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Extensive people leadership experience in a commercial role, including direct field team management.

  • Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.

  • Experience launching new products and/or leading teams through product launches.

  • Demonstrated success delivering and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into business decisions.

  • Ability to set ambitious goals and drive accountability for results.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:  
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bilingual English and French proficiency strongly preferred for a national role.

  • Oncology or specialty sales experience; GI Oncology experience is an asset.

  • Launce experience, specifically building, scaling, or leading field teams.

  • Experience across multiple functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access) and in strategic account management.

***This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements***
