The Role

RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Software Engineer/Developer as we continue to grow our Ottawa-based practice.  The Software Engineer/Developer will perform analysis, design, and development for our no code / low code, highly configurable SaaS product and work across other Enterprise class software platforms in both Java and .NET based environments. Our systems incorporate leading-edge technologies, from cloud-based mobility to data visualizations and artificial intelligence. This role involves close coordination with product owners and other key members of the product development organization. The Software Engineer/Developer will work on a dynamic development team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Skills & Role Requirements

The Software Engineer/Developer will need to have:
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a C#, JavaScript, .NET, and SQL Server environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js, GoJs, Angular, or similar technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other field.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to efficiently learn and apply new ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to organize time, staff, and projects efficiently.
