This Position reports to:

HRIS Time Manager
 

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and ensure its alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. Each day, you will be responsible for the design and build, integrity, and quality of an Information Systems (IS) solution and associated IS services delivered to business. You will also showcase your expertise by consulting, advising, and supporting on the installation of new IS solutions/services, or changing existing IS solutions/services.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the North Americas IS Time team to support HR Time and payroll function.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring that the IS solutions/services provide the required functionality, meet the expectations of business and are reliable, maintainable, compliant, and auditable.

  • Approving, signing-off, and building any solution to be implemented on ABB production environment, within the respective service line, ensuring required quality and safety standards.

  • Contributing to IS problem and incident management by identifying and eliminating the reoccurring defects.

  • Defining the technical IS solution and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration among IS solution architects and IS delivery units.

  • Requirement gathering: You would collaborate with HR Stakeholders to understand their process, needs and objectives.

  • Data Migration: You would oversee the migration of data from Legacy system.

  • Testing: Collaborate with the Testing team to develop test scenarios, scripts and conduct functional SIT testing to validate system functionality against business requirement.

  • Manage Defect resolution.

  • Implement and support SAP, Workday or UKG Pro solutions, to enhance business functionality and performance.

  • Support technical and functional design, documentation & training for multiple integrated systems through SAP & UKG Pro.

  • Leading workshops to collect business requirements and translate them to system requirements. Identifying gaps, issues and work around solutions.

  • Providing technical stewardship of end-to-end integration solutions in the HR Landscape that are associated with SAP Business System

  • Assist the UKG Pro with Time Tracking solutions and support

Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in, and enjoy working with UKG , SAP Time Management and other time capture relevant tools and methodologies for HR Payroll needs and Costing.

  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have with 10+ years of relevant information technology experience with 7+ years of HR level experience and 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP HCM.

  • Problem solving skills with demonstrated curiosity to understand how and why a problem or issue exists

  • Demonstrated experience with production incident management process

  • Experience in integrating SAP with other corporate systems will be a great asset.

  • Experience with SAP HCM, CATs Time module and UKG Pro systems

  • Core ABAP and ABAP HR including Adobe forms, Smartforms, SAP Scripts, Web Dynpro for ABAP, User Exits, Enhancements, BADI, BDC, Transformation, Interfaces, Idocs, LSMW, Workflows, RFC, OOABAP, BAPI and others.

  • Functional knowledge of HR and submodules like PA, OM, Benefits, Payroll and Time Management

  • Functional knowledge on Kronos WFC or UKG Pro.

  • Basic knowledge of Workday HCM, UKG Pro and other related HR systems.

  • UKG Advanced Scheduling Certification is ideal

  • Knowledge of Workday, SAP or other Time Keeping systems is an asset
