Operations Manager  (Philippines)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate and strong-willed Operations Manager to join our team! This position requires a high level of critical thinking and deep understanding of the industry we support. The candidate should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and can support an ever-changing industry. As a member of the team, you will report directly to the Director of Operations. 

The candidate will need to work shifting schedules, ranging from 8:00PM at the earliest or 10:00PM at the latest, from Monday to Friday and follow the holiday schedule of the country of the supported project while still receiving compensation for Philippine holidays.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operations Management: 

    • Driving of retention initiatives and working closely with Process Excellence and requirement to avoid disruptions in Operations

    • Day-to-day management of operations and related issues impacting operations

    • Regular cadence of performance reporting to Director of Operations

    • Monitor, measure, report, and analyze data to identify trends and gaps in performance or process

    • Responsible for the Performance Management of the Team Leaders within the role's scope

    • Monitor and take action on any issues related to the Timekeeping system of Team Leaders within the role's scope

    • Analyzing of Operations processes and providing improvement recommendations to Director of Operations

    • Ensuring all company-required training sessions are completed in partnership with the Training team

    • Works closely with Training & Quality to ensure processes are documented and SOPs are updated

    • Provides support to Director of Operations in deployment, implementation, and monitoring of Operations strategies

  • Team Development: 

    • Manage, lead, and inspire supported teams, ensuring they regularly meet or exceed performance targets

    • Responsible for Team Leader development and mentoring

    • Monitoring of resources' to assess developmental needs to improve performance

    • Hold regular team meetings with direct reports in compliance with the governance framework 

    • Conducting of Triad-Coaching sessions with Team Leaders to identify strengths, gaps, and work on overall improvement

  • Stakeholder Management: 

    • 2nd level of escalation for internal and external stakeholders

    • Conducting regular performance reviews with onshore stakeholders

    • Partners with onshore stakeholders on improving KPI and SLA compliance

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 3 to 5+ years experience in Operations Management or 6+ years of Lead experience in Operations

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analysis skills with strong business acumen

  • Strong People Management and Stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent Planning, Organizing, and Execution skills

  • Strong English-speaking skills.

  • Keen on working with targets and meeting deadlines.

  • College graduate.
