Job Summary

As the Oracle Implementation - Business Project Manager, you will work directly with the North American team, leading an internal cross-functional team including IT, Marketing/Sales, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, and other functional areas as well as external partners that will work on the project. You will be the business lead of the Oracle Implementation Project in our Canada operation, responsible for all project deliveries, communication between all levels of the organization and risk management. You will also support the Marketing department, supporting new business development, updating prices and implementing/executing strategic marketing plans that deliver growth and exceed sales & profitability goals. This role involves high-level communication, strong project management skills, management of key business initiatives, and leadership of cross-functional teams to drive business success.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of Oracle Implementation Project ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resources requirements.
  • Ensure that all projects/programs are delivered within scope and budget.
  • Plan and monitor project progress/timeline and deliveries implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and manage project risks developing mitigation plans to address potential issues.
  • Present reports and presentations showing project actions, progress, timeline and risks.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders and executives management.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure project budgets are adhered to and financial goals are met.
  • Be the marketing resource in the project, responsible for mapping current data and update/create in the Oracle system.
  • Support the marketing department, working on implementation of growth programs, pricing updates, analyzing customer insights, market analysis and working with S&OP/Logistics/Engineering team to ensure Canada operation growth.

Additional Job Details

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Engineering, Marketing or a related discipline
  • preferred.
  • Experience in project/program management. Experience with Oracle ERP implementation
  • projects as a business leader preferred.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, organization, effective communication and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent teamwork and ability to partner and lead peers or upper levels at the organization.
  • Strong familiarity with project management standards.
  • Effective oral/written communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Conflict resolution, problem-solving skills and ability to work with different cultures.
  • Experience working in commercial or industrial OEM and Distribution environments preferred.
