Job DescriptionThe Account Development Specialist is the image, face, and voice of NAPA. You will build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers, with a focus on paint, body, and equipment products and programs. By implementing National, Regional, and District sales initiatives, you will help grow sales while providing market intelligence on customer behaviour, competitive activity, and industry trends.
This is a regular full-time position located in Eastern Ontario.
Salary Range: $58,900–$73,600 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Specific responsibilities are:
- Call on installers and body shops to promote and sell NAPA auto parts, paint, body, equipment products, and programs.
- Implement sales development plans and support District and Regional marketing strategies, promotions, and initiatives.
- Partner with the District Sales Manager and Store Managers to develop plans that grow business with existing customers within the assigned territory.
- Gather market intelligence and communicate customer needs, competitive activity, and product or service issues to Store Managers and the District Sales Manager.
- Make account pricing recommendations, assist with collections, and help ensure customers adhere to purchasing terms and conditions.
To join our team, you need:
- Automotive aftermarket sales experience, preferably in paint, body, and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair products, refinishing supplies, and shop equipment.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships, develop business, and manage a sales territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with store, district, regional, and corporate sales teams.
- Experience with account pricing, collections, and sales planning is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
