This is a remote position.

We are looking for a specialized Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, with a focus on real estate and property law. This role involves reviewing contracts and leases, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and offering legal advice. Your expertise in real estate will be crucial in ensuring that all documents and transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Review and analyze contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate.

·       Provide accurate and timely legal advice and support to clients and team members.

·       Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.

·       Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant real estate and property laws and regulations.

·       Assist with the preparation and management of real estate transactions.

·       Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient legal processes.

·       Maintain organized and up-to-date legal files and records.

·       Support the legal team with various administrative tasks as needed.

 

Requirements:

 

·       Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role.

·       Strong knowledge of real estate and property laws.

·       Exceptional understanding of contract and lease review processes.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.

·       Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation.

·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·       Certification or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.

·       Previous experience working in a real estate law firm or legal department.

·       Familiarity with property management processes and real estate transactions.
