About the Role
We’re looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our growing Partnerships team. We’ve started rebuilding Partnerships at Smile in 2025 - establishing new relationships with many agencies and tech companies, and evolving how we collaborate in the ecommerce ecosystem. This role is all about bringing those relationships to life - building and running co-marketing programs with our tech and agency partners. You’ll own webinars, partner-aligned case studies, in-person events, and our partner education program, all with a focus on driving business growth by generating qualified pipeline for our sales team. With our partners we will develop high-value offerings for the brands we serve, and in this role you will play a leading part in ensuring that the relationships are fostered, stories are told, and our loyalty community is scaled. You’ll report to the Head of Partnerships and collaborate closely with Partnerships, Sales and Client Services.

Who You Are
You’re motivated by results and like seeing your work turn into real opportunities for the sales team. You enjoy working with partners, whether that’s co-hosting a webinar, building a case study, or coordinating an event. You’re organized, creative, and happiest when you’re building programs that scale. Most of all, you like collaborating with a team that shares wins and learns from experiments together.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and run webinars with agency and tech partners, including targeted follow-up campaigns to turn attendees into demos and pipeline (note: this outreach is focused only on attendees or downloaders, not broad customer lists)
  • Create case studies with partners that showcase real merchant success stories and measurable results, and work with partners to market and promote them
  • Organize and execute experiential events with partners (these could be in-person networking experiences at major conferences, side events, dinners, happy hours, and other stand-alone gatherings)
  • Manage, grow and market the Smile loyalty education and certification program for partners in order to scale our loyalty expertise across agency teams, and enable partners to sell loyalty services more effectively
  • Track and report on the pipeline impact of all partner marketing activities
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure campaigns connect to ICP priorities, sales objectives, active opportunities and revenue

What We’re Looking For

  • The ability to empathize, develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies with a variety of partners in different Agency and technology categories
  • 3-5 years of experience running partner marketing or demand generation programs in a SaaS environment (ideally in ecommerce or the Shopify ecosystem)
  • Strong project management skills: you can juggle multiple campaigns and keep partners aligned
  • Comfort with both digital and in-person marketing activities (webinars, events, case studies)
  • A collaborative approach: you like working with sales and partnerships to drive shared outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident aesthetic sensibilities and attention to detail, with your own creative ideas and opinions
  • The ability to independently produce your own creative outputs using tools like Canva, Figma, Google Slides and more
  • A data-driven mindset: you measure what matters and focus on impact

Compensation & Team Scope

  • Base salary: CA $85,000
  • On-target earnings (OTE): CA $110,000
  • Reports to the Head of Partnerships
  • Individual contributor role with no direct reports
