Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. About the role:
Mosey has everything you need to get and keep your business compliant in all 50 states in one, easy to use, platform. Our Ops team drives mission-critical initiatives to fulfill and maintain our product coverage. We are looking for a hard-charging specialist who is focused on outcomes, accuracy, and builds strong relationships along the way. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Work with government agencies to accurately close compliance accounts

  • Provide support to users—communicating updates and handling requests for account closures

  • Use internal tools and processes to keep customers’ Mosey app up to date

  • Prepare close out reports

  • Regularly review and update Mosey’s processes to reflect the latest regulations and standards.

Capabilities

  • Excellent communicator, verbal and written

  • Strong conceptual and critical thinking

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Ability to accurately and concisely summarize complex information

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and remain highly organized

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in/with payroll accounts and compliance

  • Experience working with government agencies

  • Experience working at an early-stage startup or eagerness to learn

  • Strong connection with the mission of the company

The compensation range for this position is between $25 and $40 an hour, depending on experience.
