As a Payroll Officer, you play a vital role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be part of a collaborative HR team, supporting payroll operations, reporting, compliance, and financial integrations across our India organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working with data, solving complex challenges, and continuously improving processes.Your responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll activities and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

  • Validate payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, reimbursements, deductions, and other payroll components.

  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze payroll MIS reports and other HR-related reports.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Present payroll statistics and insights to management and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Coordinate payroll payments, tax processing, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support payroll-related financial integrations and collaborate closely with Finance on General Ledger and accounting reconciliations.

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate documentation in line with internal policies and legal requirements.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing payroll data and documentation when required.

  • Work with payroll and HR systems and contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

  • Ensure strict confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.

  • Stay up to date with labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements.

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, HR operations, statutory compliance, and labor legislation.

  • Experience in payroll reporting, MIS preparation, and data analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and strong reporting skills.

  • Experience working with payroll and HR systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR, Finance, and external partners.

  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
