A vacancy for a PLM Solution Integrator for 3D Experience (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching or Ottobrunn /Getafe

It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as Management careers. IM covers a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and positions ranging from IT infrastructure, application support to governance or strategic consultancy.

As a Solution Integrator, you will be in the front line to shape innovative digital Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools that accelerate our goal of reduced product development lead time for our new generation of European defense weapon systems at Airbus. 
With the moto “building the things right”, the position owner will be integrated into our 3D Experience SAFe teams to

  • Design  & evolve technological solution

  • Manage & Maintain the architectural runway

  • Manage non-functional requirements & compliance

  • Define and prioritize Enablers

  • operate functionalites at end user workplaces

Main tasks and responsibilities will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Build as solution architect all technical components along the 3DX evolution

  • Pair with agile release trains (ART) and scrum teams to achieve common deliverables

  • Ensure that components of the technical architecture, including interface design, are properly integrated and described.

  • Provide technical excellence, support, and quality throughout all stages of the product increments

  • Partner with all technical departments in the selection of new applications, technologies and solutions

  • Help progress our DevOps initiatives and methodologies in sensitive and protected environments.

  • Develop, promote, and teach best practices about security and digital continuity architecture

  • Perform code and quality reviews

  • Schedule and execute the EIS campaigns

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Master degree in IT or

  • Bachelor degree in IT with work experience

  • SAFe, Agile engineering

  • Process practices in large solutions or release trains

  • Excel in fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Experience in 3DX development

  • Experience with performance and failure analyses

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOP deployment

  • Familiarity with computer science fundamentals

  • Aptitude to learn new technology

  • Comply with data security and data protection 

  • Fluent German and English communication skills (written and verbal), Spanish is a plus
