What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems & databases
- A working knowledge of Linux or Unix Operation systems, and associated programming languages and advanced PC skills in appropriate Microsoft Office programs required.
- Deep Data analytic skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels up to & including C-Suite, garnering a trusted advisor position
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical capabilities and analytical concepts using laymen's terms while articulating their value.
- Experience in the credit reporting, financial services, or direct marketing industry
- Knowledge of Customer Loan Origination systems is an asset.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple demands and fast paced environment.
- Success in working with cross-functional teams to solve customer business problems

Impact You'll Make:
This position is responsible for creating and designing the best technical solution to solve TransUnion Client’s critical business issues (CBI) using TransUnion’s services and products. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on TransUnion’s suite of solutions, this role is responsible for explaining to our clients ‘how’ our products work, and how they integrate with Transunion’s suite of products. In this role, the associate will also use their subject matter expertise to provide guidance to Sales and Solutions teams. You will partner with internal TransUnion stakeholders for the development of the solution, and for the execution and fulfillment of the solution. This entails providing guidance to Sales and Solutions teams, consulting with Solutions on technical specifications for new product development.
Deliverables
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to clients in positioning our products and solutions in a technical pre-sale capacity.
- Recommend the best technical solution to our clients to resolve their critical business issues and requirements based on our existing products’ features and functionality.
- If solution requires modifications to features or functionality, engage internal stakeholders to determine feasibility and costs.
- Responsible to work with Clients to assist in analyzing their technology environment and ability to consume our solution.
- Accountable to document the technical components of the statement of work, based on customer requirements.
- Ensure language in technical document follows uses the same nomenclature in the customer contract
- Identify any special customer requirements documented and ensure existing obligations are taken into consideration on any engagement project.
- Collaborate with team members to support the meeting of any documented SLAs for Customers and Services.
- Advise and assist Product team on developing technical specifications to support new product development.
- Advise Management, Team Members and Sales Team about progress, problems, and activities related to the Client Engineering function as it pertains to their client’s opportunity
- Provide support to customers via telephone, written correspondence, and face-to-face meetings. This includes answering questions and assisting with solutions and issues.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other team members based on your knowledge and experience, in the form of informal and formal training, coaching and mentoring sessions.
- Adhere to all Standard Operation Procedures and processes. Seek exceptions to the process where applicable.
- Comply with all consumer reporting, privacy, and compliance requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The expected pay range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. In addition, variable compensation is based on applicable company guidance and plan documents as well as performance.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The opening is the result of a newly created position.
